Tweaks

Mob Tweaks

  • All mobs have a chance to drop their head on death.
  • If named, a mob will not die. Name it "silence" to turn off its noise, or "killable" to kill it.
  • Crouch and right click a bench/boat/minecart to kick an entity out.
  • Monsters cannot prevent you from sleeping.
  • Snowballs will freeze monsters in place.
  • Pose an armor stand (or a PolyDecorations statue) by using a piece of flint on it.
  • Bats drop Phantom Membranes.
  • Mouse over Bee Hives and Nests to learn more about them and the bees within.
  • Drowned will not spawn in the area of a Conduit.
  • Creepers and Withers do not destroy blocks.
  • The Ender Dragon gets more loot.
  • Ghasts passively drop tears.
  • Husks drop sand.
  • Piglin bartering has been rebalanced.
  • You can craft Piglin Brute spawn eggs using a Golden Axe, a Piglin Brute head, and a Totem of Undying.
  • Rabbits no longer take fall damage.
  • Sheep spawn in random colors.
  • Shulkers will spawn in random colors and will always drop 2 shells.
  • Sniffers can find more stuff than ever, and spawn in villages.
  • Skeleton horses spawn as regular mobs.
  • Villagers killed by zombies will always become zombie villagers.
  • Villagers do not run out of trades.
  • The Villager cure discount trick works again.
  • Zombies cannot break down doors.
  • Zombie horses spawn as regular mobs.
  • Ringing a bell during a raid will highlight all raiders.

Crafting Tweaks

  • Use the command /recipes [item_name] or /rec [item_name] to view the recipe for anything.
  • Cut almost everything using a Stonecutter, not just stone!
  • Anything you can make in a Furnace or Smoker can be cooked twice as quickly in a Blast Furnace. Raw ore blocks will smelt to blocks of their material in Blast Furnaces.
  • Discs are now craftable and copyable, or you can find them in dungeons.
  • You can copy sherds.
  • Armor trims are a little more affordable.
  • You can put almost any weapon enchantment on any weapon.
  • You can easily change the color of already-dyed blocks.
  • Quickly oxidize copper by using a Splash Thick Potion.
  • PolyFactory gives you new recipes AND new ways to create old recipes.
  • Several recipes have been changed to provide easier or more consistent ways to get things.
  • Several blocks can be uncrafted into their components.
  • Turn Concrete Powder into Concrete by holding it in your hand and right-clicking on a filled cauldron.
  • Use a stonecutter to turn blocks into miniature versions of themselves!
  • Add a piece of dye while making a Shulker Box to immediately dye it.
  • Amethyst, lapis, redstone, and raw ore blocks now work as beacon bases. You can also use amethyst and copper to fuel a beacon.

World Generation

  • Biome generation has been totally overhauled, and there are more biomes than ever across the three dimensions.
  • Loot chests, barrels, and minecart chests now spawn as per-player instance chests, meaning everybody can loot them.
  • Mineshafts no longer suck.
  • The Nether is now 1:1 with the Overworld—meaning there's significantly more Nether for you to explore.
  • Ruined Portals have more diverse variants with more to explore.
  • Strongholds have also been updated, giving them a completely new layout.
  • Villages have received an update, giving them new buildings, styles, and layouts.
  • Underwater Ruins are now larger, and can even spawn as entire sunken cities.
  • In addition to Trial Chambers, smaller Trial Shrines exist throughout the world. Take these on if you don't want to run an entire Trial Chamber!
  • New structures exist throughout the world, such as towers, taverns, and more! If you want to know what you've found, run /wits.

Game Mechanics

  • New rituals let you control the Overworld weather! Simply craft a classic Herobrine shrine to summon a lightning storm, or put 4 Logs against a cauldron and light it to make the sun shine again.
  • Use a book and the grindstone to take enchantments off of items! You can also move enchantments between books.
  • If you want to mine a lot fast, you can craft a Hammer. Digging works the same with Excavators. You can also craft Saws to cut down whole trees and Vein Miners to mine entire veins of resources.
  • Claim blocks are an easy way to stop people you don't trust from touching your stuff. You can expand the area they protect with craftable augments, which can also expand their functionality.
  • Waystones provide an easy and convenient way to go between distant locations.
  • Backpacks are like Shulker Boxes you can access on the go!
  • PolyDecorations gives you all sorts of furniture and cosmetic building additions to make your builds better.
  • Arcana Novum offers new and exciting forms of magic to make your life easier! Watch the video to find out what it has to offer and how to get there.
  • PolyFactory is a tech mod that changes the way you can process, store, and create new items.
  • Origins provide you interesting abilities and drawbacks to spice up your gameplay. Run /pickorigin to pick an origin and start your new life.
  • Want a harder gameplay experience? Run /personalrules keepInventory false to drop all items on death. Of course, running /personalrules keepInventory true will let you keep your items when you die.

Miscellaneous

  • New and custom commands—use /rules to read the server rules or /commands for a handy guide to commands you might find useful.
  • Crouch and right click with a Mending tool to mend it directly from your experience bar.
  • Crouch and right click on an Item Frame to make it disappear.
  • Crouch before cutting down a tree to chop down the whole thing.
  • Right click on grown crops to harvest them.
  • Kelp works just like bonemeal.
  • Potions, Stew, Beds, and Head now stack.
  • Chiseled Bookshelves count as bookshelves for enchanting.
  • Scaffolding will always fall near you.
  • Pairs of doors will both open if you open one of them.
  • Nether Portals can be made out of Crying Obsidian.
  • Transfer pets to other players! Simply write the new owner's name in a Book & Quill, look at the pet you're transfering, and run /transferpet.
  • Fortune enchantments work on Ancient Debris.
  • Looting works on Shears.
  • You no longer need to use Silk Touch to mine Ender Chests or glass.
  • You can use Silk Touch to mine monster Spawners.
  • Boots with Feather Falling will never trample crops.
